🤝 Why collaboration is essential for building a successful XR future?
- 3 minutes read - 506 wordsThe era of isolated development and secret-keeping innovation is fading. In the past, companies, individuals could thrive by becoming subject matter experts within their own walls. However, the rise of generative AI, fueled by shared knowledge, has changed the game. AI can now imagine and generate solutions faster than ever. The future belongs to those who embrace openness, collaboration, and shared learning.
Expertise alone isn’t enough. Today, success hinges on building strong networks, fostering partnerships, and collaborating within communities.
📕 In my book, Exploring the Metaverse: Redefining Reality in the Digital Age, available on Amazon and BPB Online. I advocate for this collaborative approach. The book delves into hundreds of potential metaverse use cases, along with the challenges that require collective solutions.
🤝 XR collaboration in action!
In the esprit of collaboration, I shared about the potential of AI in addressing adoption challenges for XR content from my conversation with the Convrse.AI team at the Thoughtworks Gurugram Center. Recently, I had the privilege of collaborating with the team from Digital Jalebi — Experiential Design Studio, who visited our center and provided valuable insights on XR use cases, success stories, and key considerations. Many thanks to the DJ team for their enriching visit.
🤔 XR training: Where imagination meets reality
XR devices are reaching new heights of realism, with natural hand and eye tracking enhancing the immersive experience. This opens doors for transformative training and onboarding, allowing learners to experience scenarios impossible to recreate in the real world.
Imagine mastering fire safety procedures in a simulated burning building, or perfecting CPR techniques on a virtual patient. Team showcases how XR can recreate these situations with remarkable accuracy, fostering deeper understanding and muscle memory compared to traditional methods.
🤷♂️ Beyond talking points: XR makes car features come alive
Similar to the limitations of traditional fire safety training, salespeople often rely on verbal descriptions for complex automotive features like ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) and airbags. However, XR allows customers to experience these features firsthand in a safe, simulated environment. Check it out here
🥽 VisionPro: Redefining XR design and accelerating adoption
Our recent discussions explored how VisionPro will revolutionize XR design paradigms, significantly accelerating adoption rates. We delved into the exciting potential of XR converging with technologies like AR, 3D printing, IoT, Wearables, and autonomous vehicles.
To unlock this potential, fostering an open ecosystem for XR engineering practices is crucial. Similar to Arium, the open-source automation testing framework for XR applications, we need collaborative efforts to establish open standards and tools.
⛑️ Drive to safe and meaningful future!
Ethical considerations shouldn’t be an afterthought. 📖 In my book, I delve into the crucial role of ethical tech adoption, a topic often neglected during the initial development phase.
Once again Thank you Digital Jalebi team to come forward, and sharing your learning, interesting XR use cases that you have built, and discuss our possible synergies for future! Let’s continue putting our effort for safe and meaningful technology adoption.
