🚀 HackVSIT 6.0 – Judging the brilliant minds

Organised by ACE – Association of Computer Enthusiasts, the technical society of Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, New Delhi, it brought together hundreds of brilliant minds brimming with passion, purpose, and a vision to solve real-world problems with technology.
It was an absolute pleasure to join the jury panel, alongside an esteemed group of leaders from across the industry:
- Mr. Mukesh Kumar Bansal – Founder, Top AI Voice; Thought Leader in EV & Sustainability Tech.
- Ms. Srishti Gupta – International Speaker, Microsoft Community Parner, Career Guide, and just cleared UPSC.
- Mr. Kartik Atri – Cybersecurity Expert, EC-Council
- Mr. Yash Chatrath - Tech Expert, Sony
- Mr. Peeyush Tyagi – Astra Security
- Mr. Pawan Singhla – Zigram
🧠 A 24-Hour Sprint of Innovation
Held on 25th–26th April 2025 at the VIPS campus in New Delhi, the 24-hour hackathon witnessed hundreds of students collaborating in teams, turning wild ideas into working prototypes. The excitement, the energy, and the level of innovation was truly inspiring.
Participants tackled real-world challenges, including:

🕹️ Game Controllers powered by computer vision — steer cars with gestures and physical motion.

✈️ AI-powered travel assistants — customized itineraries based on user behavior.
-
📚 Adaptive AI tutors — educational content tuned to individual learning pace.
-
📈 Social media influencer aggregators — for digital marketing and trend analysis.

🕶️ Smart glasses for the differently-abled — real-time audio-visual assistance.
These were not just ideas — they were early glimpses into our future.
🧑🏫 Learning from Mentors, Judged on Impact
The event was backed by thoughtful mentoring, guiding students on technical, design, and business aspects.
The Top 10 teams presented live demos before the jury. Judging wasn’t easy — each team brought something good to the table. We evaluated them on:
- Innovation
- Novelty
- Feasibility
- Presentation
- Completeness
Each team showed exceptional effort, and I was truly impressed by the effort of execution within such a short timeframe
🎁 Sharing “Exploring the Metaverse”
It was a proud moment to present signed copies of my book 📕 Exploring the Metaverse to the winners and participants. The book speaks of a future shaped by responsible, inclusive, and immersive intelligent technologies — something the HackVSIT spirit aligns with beautifully.
