Sometimes, a new beginning doesn’t just introduce you to a new organisation. It helps you rediscover what you have believed in all along. A new beginning, a familiar purpose It has been a month since I began my journey with Bupa as Head of Engineering at Bupa Capability Centre (BCC), India. As I work through onboarding, and learn more about Bupa, I find a strong connection between its purpose and my personal philosophy: Jagjeevan — Living Larger Than Life📕.

A new chapter begins! Life has a way of continuing the story even when one chapter comes to an end. Today, I begin a new one at Bupa Group, joining as Head of Engineering at Bupa Capability Centre (BCC), India. And what a warm welcome from the BCC team! Whenever we start something new, we bring assumptions, experiences, and a collection of things we know—and many things we don’t. A new beginning is also an opportunity to pause, learn, unlearn, and look at familiar problems with fresh eyes.

We often hear that times are changing. In the AI era, change is no longer gradual — it is accelerated. Today, AI agents assist us in writing, thinking, researching, and even making personal decisions. Many of us now do something unimaginable a few years ago: We even confirm what our doctors say… with AI. AI explains reports. AI answers late-night doubts. AI reassures us when anxiety grows. It is that second opinion!
